Tell us about your home
Send us your address and tell us what you’d like lit, such as the roofline, trees, porch, driveway, or fence line. We’ll measure your property and return a single, fixed-price quote, with no pressure and no hidden costs.

We do the hard part
Our crew cuts commercial-grade LED lights to fit your roof and installs them on your booked date, October through early December. You stay warm inside.

Your display stays perfect
If any lines or bulbs stop working during the season, let us know and we’ll fix them. Your lights will stay bright for every gathering and photo.

January cleanup is on us
When the season ends, we take down every light we installed and store them until next year. There’s no second appointment to schedule, so all you have to do is enjoy the holidays.
When Should You Book Christmas Lights in Charlottesville?
Book August through early October. Dates go in the order deposits arrive, and the first two weeks of November usually fill before Halloween. Multi-year clients are scheduled first, in October.
You choose the night your display lights up. Many Charlottesville families schedule installation before the Downtown Mall’s early-December holiday events, so their homes are shining when visiting relatives arrive and it’s time for family photos.
Simple to secure your installation date: a 50% deposit reserves it, and the balance is due the day before installation. In January, we remove the lights we installed except permanent lights without requiring you to book a separate takedown appointment. See the booking and scheduling FAQ for more.

Do I Have to Buy the Lights?
No. We provide everything. Lights, clips and hardware are all included. You never buy, store or throw anything away. Our commercial-grade LEDs are cut to fit your roofline, so the spacing looks clean and even.
If any light strands or bulbs malfunction during the season, we’ll repair them at no extra cost. After the season, we’ll take down the display, inspect and repair the lights, and store them for next year. See the FAQ page to learn how leasing works.

Skip the yearly install. Permanent lights mount under your eaves and blend into your trim by day. At night, control them from your phone: warm white all year, red and green in December, orange for Halloween, red, white and blue for the Fourth.

Permits and Licensing for Charlottesville Light Installs
Most homes need no permit. Events and downtown displays do. Here is what applies to you, and what we take care of.
Homes: No Permit Needed
Roofline and tree lights are temporary and attach to your existing structure. You do not need to apply for anything.
Downtown Mall & City Events
Displays in the city right-of-way or on the Downtown Mall, including installs timed around the city’s Grand Illumination festivities, may need the city’s special event permit. We plan our install schedule around it.
Vineyards & Venues
Events serving alcohol need a Virginia ABC banquet license, held by the venue or host. We coordinate our schedule around those approvals so you do not have to chase them.
