Residential Holiday & Christmas Lighting in Woodbridge
Roofline, Gable & Ridgeline Outlines
Clean, evenly spaced C9 and mini-LED runs that trace your roofline, gables, and peaks so the architecture reads clearly from the street rather than looking draped on. We measure and cut every strand to your home no gaps at the corners, no sagging mid-run and clip to fascia and shingles without nails or staples. See finished Woodbridge-area rooflines in our photo gallery before you decide on a style.
Dock, Marina & Waterfront Lighting
Waterfront properties in Belmont Bay, Occoquan Harbour, and along Lake Ridge need lighting built for wind, spray, and reflection off the water. We use low-voltage, weather-rated LED fixtures on boardwalks, boat slips, railings, and waterfront decks, and we aim the display so it reads well from both the street and the water. Lighted wreaths, starbursts, and faux snowflakes finish the look on dock posts and pilings — details you’ll find in our full Christmas lighting inventory.
Why Lights Around is Ideal for Woodbridge
Pathway, Tree Wrap & Landscape Lighting
Ground-stake pathway lighting and trunk wraps guide guests safely from the driveway to the door through Woodbridge’s early-dark December evenings, while uplighting on mature hardwoods gives the yard depth after sunset. We match warm-white and color temperatures across every element so the display looks like one design instead of three separate purchases.
Commercial & Corporate Holiday Lighting Along Route 1 and in Historic Occoquan
Retail on U.S. Route 1, restaurant patios in Occoquan, marinas, hotels, and Prince William office parks all draw more foot traffic in a season that rewards curb appeal.
We install storefront and window lighting, patio canopies, entrance features, and large-format displays outside business hours to avoid disrupting operations, and we coordinate directly with property managers and HOA boards on permits and approval requirements.
For scope, product, and multi-site options, review our commercial lighting inventory or ask about event and wedding lighting for holiday parties and winter receptions.

- Custom design and fixed quote – You get a design and an all-in price no per-strand upcharges.
- Professional installation – Insured crews install on your scheduled date, typically in a single visit.

Why Woodbridge Homeowners and Businesses Choose Lights Around
Roofline, Gable & Ridgeline Outlines
Professional-grade LED C9 bulbs in warm white, multi-color, or a combination, cut and fitted to your specific roofline so runs stay even and corners stay tight. We install on multi-story homes and steep pitches after a safety evaluation of the property. See finished rooflines in our photo gallery.
Trees, Shrubs, Walkways & Landscape Accents
Trunk wraps and full evergreen wraps up to 30 feet, shrub lighting, ground and pathway lights, plus gate posts, pergolas, and fence lines. We coordinate color temperature across every element so the yard reads as one design rather than three separate purchases.
Porch, Column & Entryway Décor
Wreaths from 24 to 60 inches, garland with or without lighting, pillar wraps, and window outlines scaled to your home’s architecture. On older Old Town properties we use non-invasive clips wherever possible — though heavy wreaths and safety anchors sometimes require penetration for safe mounting, and we’ll flag that during design rather than on install day.
Want Lights That Stay Up Year-Round?
A growing number of Woodbridge homeowners are switching to permanent architectural LED lighting discreet tracks installed once along the roofline, then app-controlled for warm white every night, red and green in December, red-white-blue in July, and off-season accent lighting the rest of the year. No annual install fee, no ladder, no January takedown. Compare specs, colors, and control options on our permanent lighting page or ask us to quote it alongside your seasonal estimate.

Design consultations start in September, installations run from mid-October through mid-December, and our best dates are typically booked out by early November. Woodbridge Holiday Lighting FAQs
How much does Christmas light installation cost in Woodbridge?
Do I buy the lights, or do you provide them?
We provide them. Lights Around doesn’t sell lighting products — all lights, materials, and decorations are leased as part of the service, and all equipment remains our property. Leasing means you never purchase, store, repair, or replace lights, and you get consistent quality and
What's included in the price?
Design consultation, professional installation, in-season service, post-season removal, and off-season storage. You don’t need to climb ladders, troubleshoot outages, store lights, or replace broken strands — we handle every stage.
When do you install, and when do the lights come down?
Removal begins in January following the Christmas season, and you don’t need to schedule it — it’s included. With early installs, lights don’t need to be turned on until November. Customers on our three-year agreement receive priority and early installation in October.
What's required to reserve my installation?
A non-refundable 50% deposit and an authorized signature on your proposal reserve your installation and service. If you pay in full, 50% is treated as the deposit. The remaining balance is due the day before installation.
Do you work with HOAs in Woodbridge communities?
Yes. We frequently coordinate with HOAs, management companies, and boards to meet community standards and timelines, and we can match colors, patterns, and design elements to your neighborhood guidelines. We also work with churches, schools, retail centers, commercial buildings, municipalities, and event venues.
Do I need to be home during installation?
No. You don’t need to be present for installation or removal. We will need any required entrance codes and parking passes for installation, service, and removal.
What do I need to do before the crew arrives?
Two things. Provide working electrical outlets near the install areas — typically near the front door or in front of the garage — and make sure they aren’t on the same circuit as high-amp devices, since we can’t repair or alter outlets. Also complete any landscaping first; trim bushes and trees before the install date, as damage to lights caused by landscaping work is at the customer’s expense.
What happens if my lights stop working?
Lights Around warranties all equipment and workmanship during the season. Notify us immediately and we’ll service or replace the affected lights. Service requests are prioritized by severity and availability, especially during peak season. Please note that unreported outages aren’t covered — defects must be communicated within 24 hours of installation, and any outage needs to be reported to us.
Are you insured, and are your installers trained?
Yes. Lights Around carries liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. Our crews are trained in ladder safety, roof access, anchoring, electrical best practices, and property protection, and installations are completed by Lights Around crews or trained partners working under our standards and supervision.
Can you install on tall or steep roofs, or on large properties?
In many cases, yes. Every property is evaluated for safety before installation, and we routinely install on multi-story homes, large estates, commercial properties, churches, and HOA common areas. If any area is deemed unsafe, we may modify the design to protect installers and your property.
Will you drill into or penetrate my home?
Some installations may require it. Heavy wreaths and safety anchors sometimes need penetration to ensure proper and safe mounting. We’ll discuss this with you during design so there are no surprises.
Do you offer lighting that stays up year-round?
Yes. Our permanent LED lighting is fully customizable, color-changing, and controlled from your smartphone. See options on our permanent lighting page.
